This privacy policy explains how Leanne Brookes Photography ("I", "me", "my") collects, uses and protects the personal information you provide when you visit this website or get in touch. I'm based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, and I'm the data controller responsible for your information.

I take your privacy seriously and only ever collect what I need to respond to you and provide my photography services.

What information I collect

I may collect and process the following:

• Enquiries — when you use the enquiry form or email me, I collect your name, email address and any details you choose to share about your event.
• Newsletter — if you sign up to "Stay connected", I store your email address so I can send you occasional updates.
• Bookings — if you book a call, some details are handled by my scheduling provider (see below).
• Technical data — like most websites, my host records standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) for security and troubleshooting, and a small number of cookies keep the site working.

How I use your information

I use your information to reply to your enquiry, provide quotes and photography services, send you updates you've asked for, and keep the website secure and running well. My lawful bases for processing are your consent (e.g. newsletter), taking steps at your request before entering a contract (e.g. answering an enquiry), and my legitimate interests in running my business.

Who I share it with

I never sell your data. I only share it with trusted providers who help me run my business, including:

• Microsoft (Exchange Online) — for sending and receiving email.
• Calendly — if you book a call, to manage the booking.
• My website host — where the site and its data are stored.
• Google Fonts — to display the site's typefaces.

These providers only process your data on my behalf, and some may be located outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. This site uses a small number of essential cookies to keep it working and to remember your cookie choice. I don't use advertising cookies. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner, and you can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry and client information only for as long as needed to provide my services and meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete it securely. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe) at any time. To exercise any of these, just email me and I'll help.

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your information safe, including a secure (HTTPS) website and access controls.

I may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
